We are honored to pay homage to the late Kit Carson with the M16-03KS, a new iteration of his legendary tactically-inspired everyday carry folding knife—the most popular series CRKT has ever seen. This knife is more than just a fresh take on a classic; it’s a true tribute to one of the greats.

Kit Carson designed this and many of his other groundbreaking knives in his shop in Vine Grove, Kentucky. His lasting legacy includes popularizing the flipper, now a household component, and earning a place in the Cutlery Hall of Fame. The M16-03KS retains all the features we love about Kit’s original design, with the addition of a spear point blade and a durable black oxide finish. The hardy frame lock ensures the blade stays securely in place, while the stainless steel handle, featuring five holes, keeps the knife clean and light.
