He is credited with popularizing the flipper, now a common feature in knives, and is recognized for his distinguished rank as a Master Sergeant, as well as his prestigious membership in the Cutlery Hall of Fame. The M16-04KS model retains all the beloved features of Kit's original design, with the addition of a robust tanto blade sporting a durable black oxide finish.
